CAM RADIO AWARDS: Presented by CAM RADIO NET The RF BULLY CERTIFICATE... The LIFE TIME MEMBER CERTIFICATE... RF BULLY ~ To qualify: You must work 5 Bully Members who hold certificates. We have 19 as of 11/30/2011. You must verify the contact with call sign and RFB certificate member/number. Submit your application to WA4DB. The RFB submit form is located here. 
Some Bullies do not have a number.You must run at least 1000 WATTS INPUT DC (2000 VDC @ 500 MA) or SSB PEP output power of 700 watts during the entire transmission (QSO). Signal reports, call signs, Name and Number must be submitted to WA4DB (Dave) using the official form (link above). NOTE: You may be asked to explain how you would neutralize a tetrode or how to wind an input choke for the filament of a GG triode amplifier. Bully's will keep track of your contact and they will be confirmed before certificate is printed. Submitted forms will be accepted on FCFS basis. So get on 75, 40 or 20 and make those contacts, Bullies are listed below the certificate image. Please, if you are running finals that are not capable of this challenge, do not force it. RF BULLYS do not flat-top or distort. They are considerate, and courteous, but powerful. They are members of this fraternity and they all understand the requirements in station equipment including antennas and RF grounding. As Bullies we understand that being a BULLY may not be POLITICALLY CORRECT, but being an RF BULLY means you really don't care what others think. You want to be a winner and you take pride in blowing through the pile-up. Calling DX more than 20 times at 100 watts will waste more energy than calling one time at 1000. Any RF Amplifier that delivers more than a 10DB gain over your barefoot signal will be considered. We have a set criteria and only certain amplifier users need apply. Sorry we do not except "sweepers". You will have to join the real world, we will not consider a sweep tube (no matter how many you run). Recommended tubes: 3/4-400 (2), 3-500 (2), 3/4-1000 (1), 3/4CX800 (2), 3CX1500 (1) and certain Russian RF triodes. Sorry we do not endorse PRC final amplifier tubes, EL34, EL506 or 811A. Solid State Amplifiers (50VDC @ 25 AMPS) The Ic must exceed 20 AMP on peaks. Member Amplifiers: Henry: 2KD, 3KA, 5KA, All Classics, Ameritron: AL-1500, AL-1200, AL82, Amp Supply: LK-800, LK-500, Heath SB-220 Heath Warrior...HARRIS and Tokyo High Power, QRO 2500 series.
